River Valley Foods, located in Syracuse, New York, is an established family owned and operated wholesale and DSD distribution company. River Valley and Cavallaro Foods currently deliver and warehouse a diverse line of specialty, natural, frozen, bakery and dry grocery products.
River Valley Foods was founded in 1985 when Gerard and John Redmond purchased the Syracuse retail division of Sysco Foods. In 2004 Cavallaro Foods joined with River Valley, adding over 85 experienced field sales reps and a full service specialty foods program. Cavallaro Foods has been a key player in the specialty foods market for over 20 years.
Since combining companies in 2004, River Valley Foods has expanded further into the Northeast, providing the first class products and personal service that can only be offered by a family owned and operated business.
